Protein pancake

The average bodybuilder eats oatmeal for breakfast all the time, but those who won’t settle for that, will start their mornings with a protein pancake, which does not necessarily take more effort than the latter one. Especially if you have a sweet tooth, you will be obsessed with it, and can go on for years without getting bored of it. However, for some reason people keep a distance from it, as if it was some advanced gourmet shit requiring PhD at the University of Cooking’s Faculty of Breakfast, but honestly, you do it once, and the second time you will reach the absolute perfection, unless you are not severely retarded, of course.

The biggest charm of protein pancakes is the freedom for your creativity. You can include literally anything in, on or between them, from fresh fruits to some salivating nut butters. To be completely honest, I’d not quite prefer fruits, as quick carbs are not a very wise way to start off your day, but if your taste buds demand it, then better to comply before they rise up against you.

Video is coming in spring or summer!

Ingredients:

  • oat flour or ground oat flakes
  • protein powder
  • eggs
  • water
  • extra: whatever you want that can fit into your calorie level

Instructions:

  • mix all the ingredients until a consistency of a well-handleable pancake batter
  • cook them in a non-stick pan with a little sunflower oil or without
  • add all the peanut butter and fruits you want to

Bon appetit!

Tips:

  • if you mix the ingredients in a blender, you don’t even need to pre-grind the oat flakes
  • if you let the batter rest for a few minutes before cooking, you’ll make sure all the dry ingredients absorbed the liquids properly, thus getting a smoother texture
  • if you don’t have time to build up a billion-floor pancake skyscraper, then just pour it into a pan, cover it, and then turn it after a few minutes, and you are done

It has begun!

Hey all, it took me almost a year, but my blog-website combo is finally ready to go public. It's still not completely ready though, but I hope that by publishing I'll motivate myself more.
